Back in 2005, our grad school friends sought help creating the portfolio websites they needed to share their work with a broader audience. Today, we proudly support artists worldwide.
As artists ourselves, we've always championed artists with the same dedication as any “corporate" client—and firmly believe in delivering quality, respect, and unwavering support.
We’re women-owned, artist-led and carbon neutral.
We aim to empower you with a website that reflects your values, as you share your work with the world.
At OtherPeoplesPixels, we embody triple-bottom-line principles: prioritizing people and planet over profit. Unlike other website companies, we are artist-led and have never taken venture capital that could compromise our values. Since 2005, we have prioritized equity and sustainability.
Today, we are proud to say we are the first and only woman-owned, carbon neutral platform for creative portfolios!
We support artists & our community.
In 2010, we established The OtherPeoplesPixels Fund as a way to give back. This initiative provides grants to non-profits dedicated to supporting the arts, environmental causes, social justice, upholding freedom of speech and more. From 2013 to 2021 we supported the MAKER Grant which provided unrestricted funding to artists engaged in environmental and social practice work.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we provided thousands of free months of service for artists who self-identified as experiencing financial hardship—and continue to provide free sites to many non-profits.
